Prevention Against and Response to Gender-Based Violence
Our work recognizes the full cycle of gender-based violence to prevent its occurrence and engages multiple partners to adequately respond to Gender Based Violence. We adopt an intersectionality lens that recognizes the multi-dimensional factors to limit the occurrence of Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
Our interventions are centered on addressing the root causes of Gender Based Violence at the individual, community, and societal levels to bring about the changes we seek. Using a survivor-centred approach, we work with multiple sectors, including the Nigerian Police Force, the Judiciary, as well as communities to provide preventive mechanisms and adequately respond to gender-based violence.
